1️⃣ Activated Charcoal
• Binds: toxins, gas, chemicals, some parasite byproducts
• Very broad — it binds everything, not just “bad” stuff
• Often used short-term, away from food/meds
⚠️ Skip if constipated, on daily meds, or using long-term
Common side effects: constipation, black stools, dehydration

2️⃣ Zeolite (Clinoptilolite)
• Volcanic mineral with a cage-like structure
• Binds: heavy metals, ammonia, some toxins
• Parasite binding = mostly theoretical, but widely used
⚠️ Not for pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney disease
⚠️ Only purified, ingestible forms matter
Side effects: constipation, dry mouth, electrolyte imbalance if overused

3️⃣ Bentonite Clay
• Swells in water and binds via charge
• Binds: bacterial toxins, mold toxins, some metals
• Used intermittently, always with hydration
⚠️ Avoid with constipation, iron deficiency, pregnancy
Side effects: constipation, mineral depletion if overused

🚨 Critical binder rules
• Always take 2–4 hours away from food, supplements, meds
• Hydration is non-negotiable
• Don’t stack binders aggressively — more ≠ better
• If symptoms worsen, stop. That’s not “detox.”

Binders can be useful tools, not daily lifestyle habits. Context, timing, and restraint matter.
